NEO Team Update
Join us as we gather as a district for a time of prayer and intimacy in the presence of the Holy Spirit! This will not be a typical Wednesday night prayer meeting. There will be no speakers and no notebooks. Our only agenda will be to listen and spend several hours together in deep, personal engagement with the Holy Spirit.
Dr. Daniel Ketchum, former Global NYI President and Global Missions Director, as well as Field Strategy Coordinator for multiple fields in the Eurasia Region, has led groups of Christians into encounters with the Holy Spirit all around the world for several decades. There will be large group times of prayer paired with times of breaking up into trios, we will worship our Lord, and we will be quiet before Him. However, there will be no pre-set agenda – we will respond as we sense the Spirit’s leading. Each prayer segment will allow unique fellowship in the Holy Spirit, expressed through singing (hymns, praise and worship songs, choruses), reading of Scripture, and praying.
CHILDREN, TEENS: A Gathering for Everyone!
Spending time in God’s presence is a gift to the entire family! We intend to include children for some of our prayer time but most of the time, the children (age 4 through 6th grade) will have their own prayer gathering. We will also provide a Nursery for the little ones. Past sixth grade, this time is for teens as much as those in their twenties – or seventies.
We request that children please be registered for the Prayer Gathering for Children to help our team plan and prepare to make it an experience to remember. While we will not turn anyone away who isn’t registered, this helps us greatly to make the Prayer Gathering for Children run smoothly. The registration form is located HERE.
TIME & LOCATION
We will gather on Friday, March 11 at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, March 12 starting at 9:00 a.m. After a short lunch on location, we will continue until about 4:00 p.m. We encourage everyone to participate in the entire gathering to receive the greatest continuity and deepest blessing. Our meeting location is Broken Arrow First Church of the Nazarene with teens through adults meeting in the Sanctuary while children and Nursery age will meet in the Family Life Center. Church address: 401 W. New Orleans, Broken Arrow, OK 74011.
We intend to eat on location on Saturday (cost will be donations only).
USA/Canada Half-Million Prayer Mobilization
Join us in a time of prayer for renewal in our ministry and our churches.
Let us pray for a resurgence in the Nazarene message of hope and holiness.
“God does nothing but by prayer, and everything with it.”

NEO Pastors, “I Want to Celebrate…”
Bret Metcalfe, Claremore: In all the unsettledness of the world around us, God’s stabilizing presence has been with us. We have seen a move of the Spirit like the days of old. This is known by people of all ages (from those in their 30’s to those in their 80’s) coming to the altar seeking His direction. Their sobs tell me they are letting go of whatever they may have been holding onto and giving control over to the Lord. What a blessing to be a part of what God is doing.
Jim Thornton, Tulsa Hills: We’re off to a great start for 2022 around here. Our theme for the year is “The Connected Life – Spiritual, Emotional and Relational Maturity”. This has already stirred many in deeply liberating ways. Our youth and young adults ministry continues to grow under the leadership of Kasey and Lauren Stout. All in all, there is good spirit of hunger and relationship at Tulsa Hills Church.
