I WANT TO CELEBRATE…9/2018

Melissa King, Chelsea Open Doors. . . We had our annual outreach in Chelsea this month at the Jamboree. We sold tamales and sopapilla cheesecake. We handed out over 100 copies of the Jesus film! We are getting ready to celebrate our one year anniversary for Celebrate Recovery! God is good!

Mark Smith, Cushing and Drumright. . . Colleen Smith is leading vibrant women’s ministry for Cushing and Drumright churches. The ladies meet monthly for fellowship, Bible study and ministry to others by sending cards, assembling Crisis Care Kits and other projects. Cushing and Drumright joined together for food, fellowship and song on the first Tuesday of the month. Some people from Cushing Church joined us as we held worship outside for our first Drumright tailgate party.

Otoniel Dannemann, Tulsa Fuente de Vida. . . We started a new Bible study in a home and our first attendance was 17, and 2 decided to receive Jesus as their personal Savior.

Yalmi & Norma Izaguirre, Tulsa Regency Iglesia. . . God is blessing our services and we are moving the church outside of our walls.

Mark Smith, Cushing. . . On the first Tuesday of each month we are having a time of singing with the people picking songs they want to sing. What a great time we have. Food, fellowship and singing praises to God, what could be better. We have invited the Drumright church to join us and encourage our members to invite others to join us. God is so good to us and we are thankful for the Spirit that lives in each of us. Come join us on the first Tuesday and enjoy the fellowship and the singing.

David Stevens, Vinita. . . A couple who have been attending came to me and told me they feel like the Lord wanted them to get baptized. It was a joyous Sunday! They have been more consistent in their attendance. We have started having the Caravan classes on Sunday morning, and we have some new attenders in Caravans. Children’s ministry is still an effective way to bring new people in to the Church. – We are trusting God to lead us to new families for His Church and His Kingdom.

Jim Thornton, Tulsa Hills. . . We welcomed 11 new members into the church this month, all of whom are new Nazarenes. In addition, we had the privilege of baptizing 5 people in September. Our Fall discipleship electives (Financial Peace University, Uninvited Bible study and Open Box Special) have resulted in record attendance for discipleship classes. Our building strategy team has been formed and we are exploring expansion costs. We had a well-attended welcome lunch for those new to THC. God is at work and we are a grateful people!

Brian Loderhose, Owasso Silver Creek. . . We had a great time at Pastor’s Retreat and have just enjoyed a great spirit among our people lately.

Cary Tipton, Mannford Grace Family Worship Center. . . A great rental house to live. We had our first cottage prayer meeting at our house last Thursday. The house was full as well as our hearts and bellies. We are looking forward to God answering our prayers.

Ronnie Baker, Tulsa Audacity. . . We had a great 5th Sunday. We served a church with a 110-year-old building that has 3 congregations meeting in it. With vacation and Pastor’s Retreat in the same month I was out two Sundays. Our teaching team did a great job and it was the first time being gone from the church weekend I really had a lot of peace. We truly have a great team put together.
