The grand goal of the District Superintendent Search is the election of a District Superintendent in June that is the person God has chosen for that calling. We prepare for that day through the times of prayer leading up to it and the various activities each of us and the District Advisory Committee (DAC) are engaging in. Asking God’s guidance, involving the district (laypersons and clergy/pastors), and conducting the journey to where a ballot with two names is presented to the District Assembly transparently, are all key factors in this search. “Transparently” means we will share about the process extensively but we won’t share the names of persons considered.
