NEO Team Update

NEO Pastors, “I Want to Celebrate…”

Brad Farnsworth, Broken Arrow Core… I was overwhelmed by our church’s response to the crisis in Ukraine. I heard the story of Pastor Serhii in Ukraine and contacted him. They have been driving women and children to the border non-stop day and night. Our church gave over $5,000 to support his church.

Steve Brown, Cleveland…We at Cleveland have had some wonderful folks coming and seeking the transformational grace of God as we are walking through the series Way, Truth, Life: Discipleship as a journey of grace. God is convicting, encouraging and challenging us in this journey. It is a joyful time.

Ben Finkbeiner, Cushing Kinetic…We are thankful that Paula and a team from Core came to Cushing to remodel the kitchen and Cafe area!!! We are also praising the Lord that 3 people have Inquired about baptism!!!! We are meeting with them individually and planning a service in the coming weeks! And we’re thankful for Food for the Hungry donations from our Towers team. Today our TRIBE team packaged meal ingredients together with a recipe and prayer card, then delivered to 4 different community Blessing Boxes (Take what you need, Give what you can).

Carl Brown, Hominy…I just want to celebrate the wonderful harvest of children and families that we have been coming and filling our church with love and praise. We have had a wonderful year with the Children’s Time meetings doubling the number of young children and families that are now coming regularly and are planning to receive two of those families on profession of faith this month. We are looking forward to many more joining as members this coming year. We have added another class for our children and are hoping to have another for young adults very soon. God has been blessing us greatly through 2021-2022.

Brian Loderhose, Owasso Silver Creek… We took in 14 new members last Sunday and look forward to a tremendous Easter celebration. God’s redemption and healing are present.

Brady Thelander, Sapulpa… We are celebrating 9 people coming through our recent church membership class!

Austin Troyer, Tahlequah…We are celebrating a baptism this Palm Sunday!

Jim Thornton, Tulsa Hills… I just want to celebrate the renewed atmosphere around Tulsa Hills Church. We’ve started a new Sunday School class and continue to see familiar and new faces each week. Our current theme of “The Connected Life – spiritual, emotional and relational maturity” continues to foster conversations that some have waited a lifetime to express. For this and more, we are thankful.

David Stevens, Vinita…We rejoice that our little new granddaughter is doing very well. Her dad had a scare and ended up in the hospital with septic arthritis in his shoulder. They flushed out the infection and he reported this morning that his white blood cell count is back to normal.

Michael Staton, Wagoner…We’re celebrating two years together with Pastor Kasey and Amanda. During those years they have rebirthed a youth group and young adults. Hope for the future!
